Holding a compassionate space for balance, resilience, and renewal
Neelkantha — inspired by truth, sacrifice, and service — equips leaders with clarity and courage to navigate transformation, elevate performance, and deliver lasting global impact. Through mentoring, speaking, strategic advisory, and executive coaching, we guide organisations to lead with purpose in a complex world
The name Neelkantha is inspired by Lord Shiva — who, in ancient wisdom, drank a deadly poison to save the world, earning the title “the blue-throated one.” This timeless story embodies sacrifice, truth, and service — values that guide everything we do. Lord Shiva is the eternal embodiment of truth, transformation, and universal balance.
With over 50 years of lived experience and more than 30 years of professional expertise in finance, treasury, leadership, and sustainability, I have guided organisations through transformation, growth, and challenge. As a Board Director and CFO, I led cross-functional teams across finance, governance, operations, HR, and IT—developing and executing strategies that delivered strong commercial results while building long-term value.
My career has taken me through defining crises, from the global financial crash to the COVID-19 pandemic—moments that tested not only business models but the resilience of people. I have restructured teams, resolved entrenched challenges, and, most importantly, fostered cultures where individuals feel supported, motivated, and able to perform at their best. Along the way, I have managed complex investor and banking relationships and arranged over £1 billion in debt financing, including sustainability-linked loans that were pioneering at their time.
In recent years, my focus has shifted toward human capital and sustainability—recognising that people and nature are the true engines of resilience and long-term success. This perspective has deepened my commitment to ESG and reinforced my belief that profitability, purpose, and people are not in conflict; they can, and must, work in harmony.
Beyond the boardroom, I serve as a non-executive director with NGOs and charities, and as a mentor, advisor, and coach to leaders navigating the pressures and uncertainties of today’s world. My approach is anchored in authenticity, resilience, and purpose-driven leadership—helping organisations grow while creating impact for people, profit, and planet.
As an international speaker on leadership and sustainability, I highlight the changing role of human capital—now as critical as financial capital in shaping long-term success. Through lived experience, I share insights that empower others to lead with courage, vision, and integrity. I also invest in projects in Tanzania that embody this balance, driving change that benefits both people and planet.
At the core of my journey are values of truth, authenticity, service, and inner conscience—principles rooted in my devotion to Lord Shiva. In Shiva’s stillness and compassion, I find a reminder that leadership is not defined by the power one holds, but by the humility with which it is practiced. My mission is to uplift people today, inspire the leaders of tomorrow, and protect our planet for generations to come.
Practical insights. Visionary impact. Future-ready leadership.
From reimagining leadership for a new economy and championing the shift to circular models, to embedding sustainability, harnessing AI, unlocking purpose-driven value, inspiring Gen Z and Alpha, and accelerating low-carbon growth — Jay brings the vision and themes that empower leaders to shape a future that truly lasts.
Leadership should not come at the cost of your health.
Today’s executives are under constant pressure — navigating transformation, growth, and crisis while carrying the weight of expectations. Burnout is the silent epidemic at the top, undermining decision-making, performance, and personal well-being.
With Jay, leaders step into a space behind the title — honest, human, and free of judgment.
A confidential, safe space for leaders to confront stress and overwhelm without judgement
A space with no judgement. A space to grow without fear, believe, and lead.
Leadership is still too often shaped by ego and pride. For women, that has meant carrying doubts, being judged by different standards, or feeling the need to prove themselves twice over just to be heard in a room.
Women in Leadership Coaching offers a sanctuary to pause, reflect, and renew — a place that strengthens belief, unlocks confidence, and sustains resilience in a world that always demands more.
Behind every executive is a person with real thoughts, emotions, and challenges
Leadership at the highest level can be lonely. Every decision is under scrutiny, pressures never stop, and the personal toll often goes unseen.
With Jay, executives step into a space behind the title — honest, human, and free of any judgment. It’s a rare opportunity to pause, reflect, and regain clarity to allow them to be better leaders.
A place executives can be unfiltered, vulnerable, and renewed, so they can lead with courage, clarity, and balance.
A Space Behind the Role – So You Can Lead with Clarity
The CFO role has never been more demanding. Today’s finance leaders are expected to do it all: steer organisations through global shocks, balance ESG and digital transformation, and inspire new generations of talent—all while delivering results. The pressure is relentless, often spilling into personal wellbeing, relationships, and family life.
CFO Coaching is more than support—it’s your space to think, breathe, and lead with clarity.
