I have over 20 years expertise as a commercial executive. I have worked through many crisis's during this time and adapted quickly and effectively to changing environments, including the Telco Bust, Financial Crisis and Covid-19 Pandemic. During my time in the corporate world, I have worked for large corporations, private equity, private businesses, high net worth individuals, charities sectors and NGOs. 

I am currently Founder and Managing Director of Neelkantha Holdings, Chairman and Founder of Elimumatokeo and Chairman of Reforest Africa, an NGO based in Tanzania. 

As an entrepreneur and angel investor in Tanzania, I founded ElimuMatokeo. The business aims to transform education in Tanzania by creating a brighter future for every learner.

My passion for ElimuMatokeo is a personal one. I want to come back and give back to the people of Tanzania. I often question why I was gifted the chance to move to the UK, and having travelled across Tanzania, people often talk about quality of education. Combining both these factors led to the birth of ElimuMatokeo, focused on improving educational outcomes for the children of Tanzania.

I am currently Chairman of the board for Reforest Africa. I am also a proud member of NEDonBoard, Institute of Board Members. NEDonBoard is the professional membership and development body for non-executive directors and board members.  I will continue to pursue NED roles where I feel I can make a difference to humanity or nature related projects/organisations

Businesses are becoming increasingly aware of the risks that sustainability challenges pose to their operations, along with the opportunities for long-term resilience presented by addressing these risks. 

As COO/CFO I have been at the heart of sustainability since 2016, when I arranged a Lloyds Bank Green Investment Facility. In 2024, I completed Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) Business Sustainability Management and Sustainable Finance certifications and am actively involved in the sustainability space. I am keen, through coaching, to help senior executives and sustainability professionals in navigating these unchartered waters.

I suffered  a nervous breakdown as a CFO as a result of overworking and burnout. I was close to causing severe damage to myself, and now I want to help others in a similar state . 

A supportive coaching process can help leaders balance, develop coping mechanisms and resilience to improve stress and mental health in the work place. Such a positive psychology approach focuses on developing a positive attitude, emotions, relationships, and meaning to life by breaking down emotions.
